Vic Czerniak was born in Pasadena, Texas. He grew up in Texas City, Texas and graduated from Texas City High School. He has received credit hours from McMurry University, Maryland State University, and Washington State University.
Vic retired from the military after 22 years of service. He retired from Bell Helicopter after 25 years and now lives in Alvord with his wife, Eva. He has three daughters: Tina, Tracey and Jennifer. He has one step-son, Justin, and one step-daughter Samantha (deceased).
Vic has lived in Alvord for 15 years because he wanted the "small town atmosphere". He has loved it since "Day 1".
Vic has served in Place 5 of the Alvord School Board since 2010. He is currently on his second term.
Vic's vision for AISD: My mission is to continue to provide the best quality of eduction for our students, the best working environment for our educators and administration and serve the citizens of Alvord ISD with complete trust and integrity.
In as much as I work for the faculty, I want all faculty to know that I am available for them. Faculty should be able to have a direct link to Board members after they have used the "Chain of Command"
The citizens should know that I am always available.
